2026 New Year Update

Here is a quick update on the first meeting of the year.

WRA are planning to present a deputation Adelaide Hills Council to review their progress against our requests and highlight issues and directions from our AGM and this year’s Action Plan

We want hear what you are interested in for our community.  Currently we are considering a grant to develop a community garden in Hamilton – see Hamilton Hill Facebook Group for more details.

Local Information

Adelaide Hills Council Mayoral Election is being held and you can vote by mail. More details, including formation on the candidates can be found on the Electoral Commission website.

Your ballot paper must be received by 12 noon 9 Feb 2026

State Election

Polling Day for the upcoming election is Saturday 21 March. More information can be found on the SA Government website.

Note that the boundary realignment issue will not be resolved until the new government forms after the election

Magill University site is identified for housing redevelopment. 

Magill Matters is a group concerned to prevent over development, traffic congestion, parking problems strain on existing infrastructure, amenities and services in our communities.
