The Woodforde Residents Association will write a submission on behalf of members and I have also been invited to have a meeting with BDO to discuss this submission and the collective views of our community.
If you are a member of the Woodforde Resident Association, please provide me with your views, by COB Monday 26 May, regarding:
Whether you prefer to be part of Adelaide Hills Council or Campbelltown City Council
Any details about why you would prefer to be part of that Council
Any issues you would like canvassed
Also, log onto the Yoursay website and take the opportunity to complete the survey, join a consultation forum and/or write your own personal submission.
If you are not a member of the Association, please consider joining.
You are able to have your say privately through the Yoursay website, however our association will be able to provide additional representation to this consultation process on your behalf which will have the weight of a representative community voice.
The SA Local Government Boundaries Commission (the Commission) is an independent body responsible for investigating proposals to change council boundaries and makes recommendations to the Minister for Local Government.
No decision has been made yet whether this proposal will proceed.
Although we have written a preliminary submission to the Boundary Commission, this new submission is part of the formal consultation process being conducted BDO who will provide the Commission with an independent report on its findings and recommendations.
This is the final opportunity to provide feedback to inform BDO’s findings and recommendations to the Commission and the consultation will be open until 20 June 2025.
We urge you to take this opportunity to have your say.
